Sitting on Santa's Lap

Chase told me the other day that he wanted to sit on Santa's lap. So as soon as we were all home we headed for the mall. I wasnted to go as soon as possible becasue I wasn't sure it would last. But I was wrong again. Both boys did infact sit on his lap and tell him what they wanted. They also had a mailbox there and Bryce put his letter in there for Santa.

Cutting down the tree

This year Eric and my Dad took the boys to cut down the tree since we have already tug it. I reminded them to take pictures and they did a gerat job. The boys both had a blast.

Live Nativity

There is a church nearby that does a live nativity every year. We had taken Bryce when he was younger but he did not remember it. The boys had so much fun filling in the blanks as we read the story along the way. We can't wait to do it again next year!!

Christmas Lights

So this year being our first official year in Ambler we have been able to see some houses that really decorate for Christmas!! Here are some of the pictures that we have taken and NONE of them are from our house!

Ambler Christmas Parade

Eric took the boys to the Ambler Christmas parade while I was out. They had a great time and loved seeing all the fire engines, police cars and of course Santa. they also enjoyed getting lots of candy!!

I asked for pictures and this is what I got...I can't complain I got this one!!!

Chase got a DS

So the other day our neighbor came over with a wrapped present for Chase. I totally knew what it was as soon as I opened the door. Anyway he had gotten Bryce a DS at the end of summer and we were going to get Chase one for Christmas but he beat us to the punch. Chase was so happy and couldn't get the box opened fast enough. Here are a few pictures of him playing with it.

Computer Down

So i forgot to mention before the last post that our computer crashed and we were without one for about a month. Anyway I have a tons of posts waiting to be posted and over the next few days I hope to be caught up!!

Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer

We were driving in the car about a month ago and this song came on the radio. We were all, all 4 of us were singing along when all of the sudden Chase got very upset. He was convinced that Grandma really did get run over by a reindeer.( Grandma is Eric's mom) Anyway we all told him that it was pretend and a song but he did not believe us. So Eric tried to call his mom but she was unavailable. So all night long he was upset and talking about it. The next morning around 7am the phone rang and it was Grandma calling to tell Chase that she was okay. He was very happy to hear it and now says that he will pretect (protect) her!!! We still laugh about this when we hear the song.

Bryce got glasses

Bryce had his eye screening test at school about 3 weeks ago and failed it. So I got him an appointment a week later and they told me that he had 2 lazy eyes and needed glasses for farsightedness. We picked the glasses out that night and last night we picked them up. He was so excited until he put them on. It was quite the adjustment. It will take some time but he was doing better this morning. He looks like such a big and very smart little boy now. We go back in 3 months to check on the progress. Please pray that things will start to get better and that we will be able to decrease his lens strength.

A close up

Even Chase was excited and happy for him

What a stud!!!

Looking for a Christmas Tree

We went to Sheerlund Forrest the other day to tag our Christmas tree. It was a little chilly but we had a great time. Out tree is tug so now we just have to cut it down in 2 weeks.

We had a great Thanksgiving this year!! We all have so much to be thankful for. We spent the beginning on Thanksgiving with Eric's family in Palmyra and then headed to Reading to my parents house. We ate lots of turkey and all the trimmings. And of course today was the official day that we could listen to Christmas music which is my favorite thing!!!

The Castle

The other day the boys were in the playroom playing so nicely with each other. Anyway they called me in to see what they made and they made a castle and were so proud of it. Probably becasue Chase did not knock it down as they were building!!

Kindergarten Thanksgiving Show

On Friday the kindergarten classes put on a Thanksgiving show. They sang a few songs and did a few poems. They did a fantastic job!! Bryce got to announce the whole show since this was on the same day and his principal of the day. He did a great job, he was loud and spoke clearly and slowly!!
