Happy 3rd birthday Chase

Chase turned 3 on Saturday. We had fun celebrating his birthday. We had ice cream on Friday night, made cupcakes on Saturday, went to Christa's 5th birthday party, had cookies at Sunday school, and then had a Batman party on Sunday and Mimi and Poppy's house. We still have to celebrate with Eric's family and will do that next weekend. We had so much fun and love watching Chase grow and learn more and more each and every day. We can't wait to see what this next year has in store for him!!!!

Happy St. Patty's Day

We had a fun St Patty's day. The boys picked out their own shirts this year. Byce's was for the Fighting Irish and Chase's was Lucky Charms. Both of them fit their personalities. We also made shamrock cookies that we all enjoyed and so did some of the teachers at the high school.

Chase's surgery

The other day we had to take Chase in to get a minor surgery. He had a great deal of wax built up in his ear  and they had to put him under to do it. He was such a trooper. He went right to the nurses and woke up a happy little boy. By 9am he was eating a donut and drinking grape drink at market. He did and awesome job and for his prize he picked new cars underwear. Hopefully we don't have to do this again!!!

Checking everything out

Taking it all in and NOT letting go of his giraffe

Playing Mimi's Ipad...the Doctor and nurses thought this was too funny!!

First thing he asked for when waking up was the ipad...ugh!!!

My sleeping baby...it took him about 20 minutes in the recovery room until he started to come out of it

Saturday Bowling

The other weekend when Katie was home we decided to go bowling with katie, Mimi and Poppy. We all had so much fun!!! We can't wait to go again. Here are a few shots from the day.

THON

This year we went up to THON again. The boys had fun but were getting restless. Of course we had to get THON tshirts. It is always awesome to watch the students dance for 46 hours straight. Katie was a moraler again this year. We are so proud of her and all the students for raising money and awareness for pediatric cancer!!!

Magic Mailbox

So at Bryce's school they do this thing called Magic Mailbox. It is a writing prompt that you do and then gets judged by a panel of 3rd and 4th graders. February's prompt was was how can you save energy in your school? Bryce's was one of the winners. He got to read his at the Town Meeting this month. He did a great job reading loud and clear. He was so happy and proud of himself. He can't wait to do it again next month!!!
